By day eight of Fashion Week, when the sleep-deprived style crowd is running on caffeine and adrenaline, it takes a real moment to jolt us back into bright-eyed action. Such was the magic of Zoë Kravitz at last night’s Coach party. Taking the stage at New York City’s Irving Plaza with her chin-length bob traded in for a swishy tumble of waist-grazing braids, the Lolawolf frontwoman’s uncanny resemblance to her mother, Lisa Bonet, transported us to the time when Bonet-as-Denise-Huxtable’s beaded bohemian dreadlocks made her the coolest girl on TV. With Kravitz’s beauty chameleon tendencies, it’s hard to say how long the look will last, but now that the Good Kill actress has proven she’s inherited talent from both of her parents—not to mention their sartorial flair for vintage clothing—it’s a sure bet she’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
