Everyone wears J. Crew. You know this. In fact, you’re probably wearing it, too. And the brand’s tremendous success in the men’s market is partly based on its wildly successful Ludlow suit. Slim cut, superb fabrics, and a great price. What more could you ask for, eh? Well, how about some shoes to go with that crisp tailoring? Seems the folks at J. Crew heard our request and have now answered by expanding the Ludlow collection to now include footwear.
What can we tell you about these new shoes? Well, they’re made from rich calfskin leather sourced from an Italian tannery and the edges of the Goodyear welted soles are hand-stained so each pair is one-of-a-kind. And speaking of the soles, the come with a stacked heel for shock-absorption (hey, you never know) and the insole is cork-filled so that the they’ll mold to your feet over time. There’s two styles—a classic wing tip and a plain toe blucher—which cost $318 and $298 respectively and come in both black and brown. Oh, and they just hit the website today, so get shopping.
