At the launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s Young Hollywood portrait book in Los Angeles last night, hosted by Michael Kors, cover girl Isabel Lucas took a bit of a risk with a head-to-toe monochromatic nude palette. While her makeup echoed the tawny peach and pink tones of her easy, seventies-inspired dress, the look still had plenty of earthy definition thanks, in part, to a full, healthy brow and a thick stroke of shimmering bronze eyeliner. Her dewy skin and pastel pink lips radiated fresh-faced SoCal appeal, but it was Lucas’s warm, sun-kissed glow and sculpted cheekbones that offered up the requisite photo-ready impact. Because when Michael Kors is throwing a party, you know a generous dusting of bronzer is in order.
