To commemorate the conclusion of Folly, Rachel Feinstein’s three whimsically theatrical sculptures that have inhabited Madison Square Park for the last few months, the artist has organized a massive festival of music and performance to send off summer with the dramatic flair that her creations warrant.

“The Last Days of Folly”—the one-night-only experience produced with Performa and the Art Production Fund that starts at 5:30 p.m. this evening—will feature collaborations with Sofia Coppola, dancer Lil Buck, musician Jarvis Cocker, and collective My Barbarïan, among others, and will see new costume creations from a selection of Feinstein’s many fashion-world friends. Chief among them are Narciso Rodriguez, Giles Deacon, and Cynthia Rowley, all of whom sent us a preview of their designs, in case holding out for this evening is just too long a wait. (Vogue.com will be on the scene tonight to document “The Last Days of Folly,” so check back tomorrow for updates.)
